A Grecian Promise.
Maria is so delightful. A beautiful young woman. Full of serenity and calmness. I remember her mother talking to me just after she was born. Her voice was filled with such love and tenderness and wonderment as she cradled her first born baby.It was as though she was cherishing the miracle of birth.
Maria and I are catching up with each other. I haven’t seen her for a while and we decide to go to an Indian restaurant for lunch. It is hot and sunny, and everyone is on the beach. The restaurant is exclusively ours. The meal is aromatic and spicy, and we have the one tummy two eyes syndrome. But how can you refuse such good food?
The subject of antenatal classes and HypnoBirthing® comes up. I explain to Maria the concept and how it really does allow a woman to have the best birth for her. I show her my website, and give her one of my small business cards. Maria is very attentive. In Greece, I don’t believe there are any HypnoBirthing® Practitioners. I looked, and couldn’t find any. Doctors deliver babies in Greece. The husbands come to the hospital, only if they want to. The baby is taken to the nursery so that the mother can rest. Water and glucose is given to the baby until the milk comes in on the third day. So interesting to find out about different countries, and different cultures.
When Maria has a baby, I am going to fly out to visit her, and over the course of several holidays, I am going to show Maria how to
Relax. Relax. Relax , and ” go with the flow.”
It’s a done deal. Perhaps I will be the first HypnoBirthing® Practitioner in Greece!!!!
For more local classes, do give me a ring to find out the best time to join a HypnoBirthing® course so YOU can have the best birth for YOU. I would love to hear from you. Annie.
