London’s Calling.

In the last few weeks some wonderful opportunities have presented themselves. How could I refuse? Bags packed and off to the bright lights for a week of R and R. Rest and relaxation. Sounds quite delightful.

Several years ago I met an Australian couple who truly are globe trotters. We met them going through immigration at Laos before heading down the Mekong on a mini cruise. Each year we have managed to have a rendezvous vows in various locations. This time we met at The Real Greek restaurant in Covent Garden. Spent an evening catching up and eating a selection of very aromatic and delicious Greek dishes.

The following morning was spent in the company of my sweet London friend submerging ourselves in the haberdashery dept at Libertys. Several pounds lighter in money, and metres heavier in silk and cotton fabrics, we regrouped for lunch on the first floor. A big treat. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle we had plenty of time to talk and make plans.” AB Fab,” the movie was the destination for the evening.

Not sure about the r and r. A day at Wimbledon followed where we saw Henri, Venus and Greg play.

NO comparison between watching on television and experiencing the whole ambience of the real McCoy. Loved how lots of people were queuing to buy used tennis balls.Hampton palace court gardens beckoned the next day which inspired and thrilled all our senses.

Any purchases? Just two. A sun hat and an optimistic solar fountain, which will be delivered next week.Walked 16, 00 steps . A gentle evening stroll down to Putney Bridge where we lingered to watch all the river traffic. Lots of waving at passing boats and helicopters. Supper at a bella  bella Italian restaurant..

The best part? Has to be the stroll, down to PutneyBridge. Totes in Awe…

Not much rest, but plenty of relaxation. This away time always gives me time to gather my thoughts and to reflect on what I am doing and where I want to go. Feeling much more positive about what courses I want to go on and decide to call a friend and invite her along for the ride.Time to expand my skill set.I want to offer more to the couples that come to the HypnoBirthing© sessions that I offer. Game plan sorted.

Feeling excited.
